About Us

At eq4me, we believe emotional intelligence changes everything. Founded by Richard Cullinan - EQ author, instructional designer, master facilitator and coach - we exist to help individuals, leaders, and teams unlock their full potential by mastering the skills that drive human connection, resilience, and performance. Richard’s own journey with ADHD and emotional intelligence shaped not only his life, but also the unique eq4me methodology we use today: a blend of psychology, neuroscience, and practical strategies designed for lasting transformation.

Behind the scenes, our team makes the magic happen. From developing our cutting-edge EQ Programmes and Assessments to delivering transformative workshops and coaching interventions, we bring together a network of highly skilled professionals. Amy, our Digital Integration Designer, ensures the seamless delivery of every learner experience - integrating digital forms, CRM systems, and automated reports while designing beautiful, intuitive course materials. Alongside her, our qualified eq4me trainers and coaches bring deep expertise, compassion, and real-world insight to every session, helping our clients turn knowledge into life-changing action.

Our mission is simple: make emotional intelligence accessible, measurable, and transformational. Whether you’re a professional seeking better communication, a leader shaping a healthier culture, or a parent building stronger relationships, we meet you where you are and guide you towards the results you want. Through our hybrid learning ecosystem - combining eLearning, in person and virtual training and coaching, and personalised assessments - we’ve helped thousands of people improve how they lead, connect, and thrive in their home life and work life.

Richard Cullinan - Founder & CEO

Richard is an EQ author, master facilitator, and internationally recognised coach with over two decades of experience in leadership development, personal growth, and emotional intelligence training. His own journey with ADHD sparked a deep fascination with how self-awareness, emotional self-regulation, and human connection shape every aspect of life and work. This personal insight, combined with a background in human capital development and years of corporate facilitation and coaching, led him to create eq4me - a global learning platform dedicated to helping people develop their EQ with clarity, compassion, and confidence. Richard’s work has reached audiences across industries, from business leaders to parents, through his book 30 EQ Strategies That Will Change Your Life, keynote talks, and tailored training and coaching programmes.

Richard’s commitment to training and coaching is rooted in one belief: emotional intelligence changes everything. He designs and delivers learning experiences that are practical, science-based, and deeply human - blending tools from psychology, neuroscience, and lived experience. Whether in a one-on-one coaching session, a corporate workshop, or a keynote address, Richard’s focus is on creating measurable transformation: helping people understand themselves, connect with others, and lead lives that reflect their best values. His mission is to make emotional intelligence accessible, actionable, and life-changing for every person he works with.
